The Friends of Hardman Farm will host a fund-raising concert featuring North Georgia native, Katie Deal, on Saturday, May 13, 2017. The outdoor event called, Today, Tomorrow and Forever — A Tribute to Patsy Cline, will be on the grounds of the Hardman Farm just south of Helen, GA. The historic site will open to ticket holders at 3 p.m. with the concert starting at 5 p.m.
“Katie Deal is a North Georgia treasure,” says Friends President, Lloyd Summer. “And so is the Hardman Farm. So, what could be more appropriate than having Katie be the very first concert event we’ve hosted here. To say we’re excited is an understatement.”
The show captures the essence of Patsy Cline and features a live band, tight harmonies, and of course, Deal’s powerhouse vocals. With a new take on nostalgia, Deal pays tribute to the iconic country star with energy, emotion, and unparalleled devotion to the subtle details in Patsy’s voice that help us remember why her music is still loved by so many.
Ticket price is a $27 tax-deductible donation to the Friends of Hardman Farm. Attendees should bring chairs, cushions and/or blankets. Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Parking is free, and the concert will be held rain or shine with no refunds. Tickets are available online at katiedealtickets.com or call 706-878-1077.
Deal recently released her first Patsy Cline tribute album, an accompaniment to the production, which will be available for purchase at the show at Dallas Theater on Nov. 12.
The Hardman Farm Historic Site is at the junction of Ga. Hwy 17 and Ga. Hwy 75 just south of Helen.
