Join the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) for Art with Heart, to be held Saturday, February 18 at the Chattahoochee Country Club. The annual event is HSNEGA’s signature fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the organization’s rescue and adoption programs.
“We are so grateful to the sponsors and supporters who’ve made Art with Heart our biggest fund- and friend-raiser,” says Julie Edwards, HSNEGA Executive Director. “So many people tell us how they look forward to the event every year… it really is a fun evening and the proceeds make a huge difference for at-need animals in our community.”
Art with Heart will take place at the Chattahoochee Country Club, located at 3000 Club Dr, in Gainesville, GA. The event will feature fine art, folk art, pottery, fine woodworking, and other types of artwork donated by renowned national and regional artists. Artwork will be available for silent and live auction during the event. Non-art auction items/packages also will be available to bid on during the event.
Art with Heart 2017 also will feature a signature piece created specifically for the event by Dennis Campay entitled “Coming Home.” Other special highlights for 2017 include portraits of some of HSNEGA’s top rescues from 2016 painted by local and regional artists; local artist Amanda Carder painting live at the event; “experience” packages including a NASCAR driving day and Kentucky bourbon-tasting trip; and more.
Tickets for the event are $55 per person or $100 per couple. Ticket price includes heavy hor d’oeuvres and a complimentary wine bar sponsored by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Humane Society website at www.HSNEGA.org.
This year’s Art with Heart is presented by Conditioned Air Systems, Inc., a generous supporter of HSNEGA for many years. Conditioned Air is a local family-owned business with a long history of giving back to the community.
